Cindy and I enjoy kayaking. We do most of it on the Grand River. This is halfway between Galt and Paris. I took this photo a few years ago and thought it would be an easy and ideal early subject. Nope, failed miserably in my early attempts to paint it an shelved the idea till this week. The painting is 8x11. The work in the foreground went quick. Like the reflections and the water, don't like the background.
